regular Sunday and
Weekday Services
Worship in a variety of styles is offered at Christ Church, on Sundays and weekdays.
It is our practice to involve Lay People in worship - Scripture readers , singers, musicians and instrumentalists, leaders of intercessions, altar servers, welcomers, ushers, sidespersons and Communion assistants are some obvious ways of being involved in worship at Christ Church. Behind the scenes roles are flower arrangers, brass polishers, altar linen laundering, morning tea and supper providers... and more. Lay involvement in worship is an important part of the lives of the congregations at Christ Church.

Sunday Services
the Sanctuary during Advent
8am A Eucharist service beginning with quiet reflective music. It offers a time for quiet reflection and prayer.
9.30am A Sung Eucharist in the Anglican tradition, a service catering for a wide cross section of our parishioners.
5.15pm This is a less formal Eucharist with a short homily and singing. On the third Sunday of each month the service combines the traditional with the more contemporary and appeals to a wide range of parishioners. During the holiday period in January each year, there is no 5.15pm service.
In addition to these services there are special Children's and Family Service ('CAFS") held each month - foot-tapping songs, craft work, Bible stories in actions, and....a BBQ afterwards (free!!) - everyone is welcome... bring your family and friends.
The CAFS services in 2009 will be at 11.15am on 6th September, 11th October - which will be a Pets Service, 1st November and 6th December.
Weekday
Services
The Weekday services are an opportunity for quiet reflection and prayer to start the day, perhaps before going to work or University, or to end the day if coming off a night shift. Why not make this a part of your weekly routine? ... it is great way to start or end the work day.
The Eucharist is celebrated on Wednesdays at 10am [and also at 7.30pm during Lent each year] and on Fridays at 7.00am.
Morning Prayer is celebrated at 8.30am every Tuesday and Thursday morning.
On the second Wednesday of each month (excepting January) a Healing Service is held, commencing at 7.30 am - all are welcome.
Throughout Lent there are two additional services at 7am and 7.30pm on Wednesdays.
During the January holiday season, the only weekday service is the Wednesday 10am Eucharist. The other services listed above are offered throughout February to December.
The Christ Church main door (facing Moorabool Street to the west) has three steps to enter, and the southern door (which opens into the church mid way along the main body of the Church) has two steps. Portable ramps are available at the Church at all services, and there is reserved parking for carers etc. alongside the Church.
There is car parking inside the church grounds (entry from McKillop Street) for all Sunday services, and throughout weekends, and limited parking during the week. Parking is also available in nearby streets, but check local signs as in most instances time limits apply, including at weekends.
