towards Christmas at Christ Church
The final weeks of the
calendar leading towards the Christmas season are busy across the Parish - some of the special dates and events
are listed below - do join us for these celebrations!
Our regular Sunday and weekday Services continue as we approach Christmas, but there are several special services over the coming weeks -
9th November - Remembrance Sunday (and, after the 10am service, a meeting of those interested in children's ministry will be held)
16th November - Parish Annual General Meeting (after the 10am Service), and the beginning of Advent Studies
23rd November - Parish Patronal Festival - Christ the King
30th November - Advent
and this year the 'Lessons and Carols' Service for Christmas will be on Sunday 21st December at 7pm - everyone is welcome!.
In addition, the next Women's Lunch will be held on Saturday 8th November from 12 noon, and a Men's Breakfast on Saturday 22nd November - details of all these events can be obtained via the Parish Office or from the weekly Parish Press, available at any Sunday Services.
