Christ Church - Lent, Holy Week and Easter 2021
In 2021 the Lent season began with Ash Wednesday on 17th February 2021, and continues through to Easter day on Sunday 4th April 2021. On this page the various celebrations associated wih Lent, Holy Week and Easter, will be recorded for parishioners to re-visit or re-use at home, and you can also link to the sermons presented throughout Lent, and to services throughout Holy Week.

The service recording for Palm Sunday includes both Readings, the Passion, Fr John's sermon, the Intercessions and Prayers.
At Christ Church, images of the fifteeen Stations are displayed in the Side Chapel and are always available to use for personal prayer or meditation. The Stations of the Cross Readings and Meditations are a special part of Holy Week, particularly Easter Monday - if you can't be at the service on 29th March or would like to re-visit the mediatations or use them at home as part of this Holy Week, all the images and the accompanying meditations can be seen by clicking here

This recording includes most of the Eucharist celebrated on Thursday 1st April, from entry of the Choir, Fr Russell and Fr John, through to the stripping of the Altar at the conclusion of the service. The sermon presented at the Easter Day Eucharist can be found with the various sermons recorded throughout the year.
